Myself, Brad, Jason, Harry, Evs, Dean and Jack took part in the Gorrick Cool MTB Challenge. It was a slightly unusual way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
It has to be the wettest muddiest ride I have completed to date. I am so glad that I have a rear mud guard on my bike. The waterproof socks however were less successful. Somehow water got in but couldn’t get out, leaving me socks full of water. On the plus side the water warmed up.
Apart from the conditions we all really enjoyed ourselves. Brad also managed to win a MTB weekend away in the prize draw.
