When I made that decision that I was going to start to ride to work, my biggest concern was being seen. Although the route is lit, cyclists are still difficult to see at night. Even when they have lights and bright jackets. They are even harder to see from the side as most have only from and rear facing lights. So along with my jacket I wanted to increase the visibility of my bike from the side. I came across some stickers from Rydesafe, they coming in several colours and various shapes. I was torn between the chain design and the butterfly design. In the end I went with the butterfly ones in silver. My road bike is now all pimped up with reflective decals.
