Achievement unlocked – 1st Commute to work

I planned Friday as my 1st commute into work, luckily the weather agreed. I was all dressed up with my new cycling tights and my very bright Provis jacket started my Strava app and I was off.
Most of my commute is on a cycle path, it’s just the first 10 minutes or so that is on an A road, so I was a bit apprehensive as I haven’t got much experience on the road.
Unfortunately my Strava app stopped 2 miles in, so my estimate is that it took about 33 minutes, which is a little longer than I would like, but it was my first attempt.
The way home was a little quicker, which was good, and as a bonus I managed to get home before the weather turned to snow & rain.
