Yesterday was the long awaited match between Bristol & Northampton.

Some of you may remember that the match was due to be played back in January but it was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch. At the time I think Bryan was quite glad it was postponed as he was suffering with a bit of a hangover (see Bon Voyage Ali & Liz).

With Northampton needing the points to move off the bottom of the table, and Bristol keen to end their row of defeats; it was a tense match for both sets of supporters. Neither team played particulary well, however Bristol had more luck and won 31-19. Lets hope that Saints pick themselves up of the bottom or their won’t be any encounters between the two teams next season. See BBC match report
