We all have some; that stuff that’s too good to throw out, or that might come in useful one day. I have a plan to try and de-clutter our house, whether it works or not is another question. 

I recently came across a site called Freecycle.  Freecycle groups match people who have things they want to get rid of with people who can use.  Everything posted must be free, legal and appropriate for all ages.

You simply post the details of an item you want rid of (or you want), people email you if they are interested (or have got what you are looking for), you then select the person you want to give the item to.  One of the benefits is that it is up to the person who wants the item to collect it, so no struggling to get large items to the tip or paying expensive postage for an item you are selling on ebay.
