This weekend we partipated in a Cole family tradition - Christmas Tree Hunting.  This does not involve a trip down B&Q.  We all (this year 17 of us and 2 dogs) met early on Sunday morning at Fountain Forestry in Brockley Coombe, to track down the perfect Christmas tree and chop it down.  The weather was clear, but a little cold out of the sun.

Trudi bagged the first tree of the day and Kia cut it down (with a little help).

We were next, but ours was already dead and only needed a little prunning.

Jay and Alan were after the rarer tree - the needlefast varity.  There were only available pre-cut.

Alan, Anna & Morgan chose a good specimen but Jay didn’t find one that suited.
